Highview Session II Info

In partnership with North Star Pickleball Association, New Brighton Parks and Recreation is offering a Pickleball ladder league in place of open pickleball at Highview Middle School. Ladder leagues provide players more structured play. To maintain proper level of play, players are assigned courts that matches his/her skill level and will play multiple partners each night as assigned by the round robin schedule. No substitutes are needed, and players will move up and down the ladder per their performance each week. No partners required. The season includes 8 weeks of play. Matches are self-officiated according to the USAPA rules, and players are responsible for tracking, recording, and signing off on their own scores. Players should bring their own paddles; balls will be provided. All stats and results will be updated online for viewing after each week of play.

Participants must be NSPA members and have a two digit NSPA rating.
(USAPA ratings can temporarily be used in place of a NSPA rating. All submitted USAPA ratings must be accompanied by a minimum of one tournament result from pickleballtournaments.com. USAPA ratings will be rounded down to the nearest tenth decimal to accommodate the two digit NSPA rating. Example: 4.344 = 4.3.) The USAPA only displays ratings in two digit format rounded down to the nearest half. Example: 4.445 = 4.0. If players wish to submit their full USAPA rating, NSPA will round their four digit rating down to the nearest tenth decimal (see example above). This will require a screenshot of their rating to the NSPA. Both the green box and purple box are required to submit your USAPA rating.
