President

The president of the North Star Pickleball Association will serve as the face of our organization. It is an elected position that is voted on by the membership every two years. The president will lead the organization in fulfilling its mission and casting the vision to the public. In addition to general leadership, the president will oversee the organization's day to day operations such as, but not limited to, member services,  finances, staffing, programming, sales, communications, and the creation of long term goals.

Vice-President

The vice-president of the North Star Pickleball Association will work with the other senior directors of the organization to plan, develop, and enforce policies and objectives for the organization to ensure that it maintains its values, objectives, and long-term goals. It is an elected position that is voted on by the membership every two years. The vice-president will lead the organization when the president is otherwise occupied and will oversee all operations as needed by the president and other directors.

Treasurer

The treasurer of the North Star Pickleball Association will will have general oversight over the organization's finances. It is an elected position that is voted on by the membership every two years. The treasurer will oversee present budgets, accounts, and financial statements. The treasurer will be responsible for financial record keeping, account consolidating, and managing incoming and outgoing funds. The treasurer will work with the president and other directors in budget planning, fundraising, and investing when applicable.

Secretary

The secretary of the North Star Pickleball Association will serve as a liaison between the board, the management, and the organizations members. It is an elected position that is voted on by the membership every two years. The secretary will also manage the internal communication of the organization. This position will also take meeting notes, distribute meeting agendas, and dates as necessary or deemed by the president or vice president.

Director of Advanced Play

The director of advanced play for the North Star Pickleball Association will advocate for the needs of the advanced pickleball player (4.5+). It is an elected position that is voted on by the membership every two years. This position will communicate with advanced players and advocate to the board, city and facility decision makers about the continuing need of the advanced player; and help develop and create programming and pickleball opportunities for the advanced player.

Membership Manager

The membership manager for the North Star Pickleball Association will serve the general membership by creating member events, pickleball activities, and other member centered projects. This position will also handle any administrative needs the organizations members may have with their membership status, dues, fees, etc. They will work closely with the vice president to assess and fulfill the needs of the membership at large.

Instruction Manager

The instruction manager for the North Star Pickleball Association manages and staffs Skill Developments Sessions, pickleball lessons (individual, partner, group), and Intro to Pickleball classes. The instruction manager works with the president to schedule times with facility decision makers in scheduling clinics, lessons, and intros for NSPA members.
