In each league session, players play numerous games over 2-3 hours with multiple different partners. Players will move up and down in league rankings per their performance each week.
NSPA league play is formatted in a ladder system.
Players are ordered in the ladder by their current ranking that week. The ranking is cumulative through each week of play and each player is assigned to a court according to their current league score.
There are 2 rounds being played on each league night. All games will be played to 11, win by 2.
Round 1, per the current state of the ladder, players are grouped in pools of 4 or 5 based on their current ranking. Partners are not needed as players will play one game with every player in their designated pool. Results will be collected after the first round of play and players will move players up and down pools depending on their performance in the first round.
Round 2 new pools will be created using the results of Round 1. Then the play will resume.
The results of both rounds will be collected and prepared for the following week's ladder.
